You should thank my girls Melly Shabazz and Coco Black, bka The Agytators, for providing you with this fine musical selection. I was reading their blog and stumbled onto a recent post they wrote about the artist Bilal. While I have definitely heard of this dude before, I hadn’t really listened to his stuff other than some clips on iTunes. I finally did tonight and…well…he is for sure someone worth checking out. I need to give him a few more listens before I can make any final verdicts, but he is definitely doing alright in my book.
